“Winter has well and truly arrived along with a dizzying array of new social rules across all parts of the UK and beyond, so with many people going back to working from home in onesies, what better way to ease yourself into a morning than reading through all the latest news and updates from the world of project management training and consultancy, here at Provek? Like many other businesses in the UK and globally, we have had to make significant adjustments over the last few months. We have had to engage in crisis-management mode, ensure survival, adjust our approach, and re-set the business to move forward. Through all of this, we have refused to batten-down the hatches or pull up the drawbridge, instead, we have moved through this cycle quickly and with determination to be a stronger and even more relevant development partner to the project management community. Having successfully adapted to the “new normal’, we’re now focusing on how we can help shape the next normal. There’s a lot that’s different here at Provek, and a lot that has remained reassuringly unchanged since the Covid-19 pandemic took hold in March. We have launched a number of cohorts on our Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship programmes, adding new employers as well as repeat cohorts from existing clients. We have successfully moved all of our APM/APMG/Axelos qualifications courses online, introduced our APM Body of Knowledge v.7 (BoK7) courses, and launched our AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner courses. Our exam pass rates continue to be well above the national rates and feedback from delegates has been fantastic, which reassures us and our customers that our focus on quality hasn’t diminished. So, grab your cuppa and read on…” Greg Montgomery, Managing Director. |

Associate Project Manager programme |
Provek has been delivering the Associate Project Manager apprenticeship since 2018. To date, we have enrolled 421 learners with 200 completing the programme so far, with learners achieving 84 distinctions, 80 merits, 34 passes (and only 2 fails).
The programme is suitable for those who manage projects as part of their role and develops essential business skills including leadership, teamwork, ethics, stakeholder management, communication, governance, procurement, budgeting, and cost control. Our recently introduced open public cohorts provide flexibility to enrol individuals, and our closed cohorts continue to offer organisations the opportunity to deliver tailored programmes. Through the last two years many of our clients have delivered multiple cohorts due to the impact this programme has had, both on their employees and the business. Our clients include British Sugar, Fidelity, GKN Aerospace, Guys St Thomas, John Lewis, McCarthy and Stone, Royal Mail, Southern Water and University of Cambridge. Read our Associated British Foods case study that explains more about the business benefits this programme offers here. l |
