PRINCE2® bootcamp

The City and Guilds/Provek PRINCE2® bootcamp runs over 6 weeks where delegates complete circa 76 hours of study and workshop attendance. Delegates will achieve the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner (7th edition) professional certifications.

The bootcamp compromises of

Pre course study

  • 20 hours of essential pre-course study, using Provek-provided resources.

Module 1 – PRINCE2® Foundation

  • 3 days of virtual tutor-led training to prepare delegates to sit the PRINCE2®  Foundation exam.
  • PRINCE2® is an industry-proven methodology that concentrates on boosting productivity and extracting the best from resources.

Module 2 – PRINCE2® Practitioner

  • 1 day of virtual tutor-led training to prepare delegates to sit the PRINCE2®  Practitioner exam.

Module 3 – Soft Skills

  • 2 days of virtual tutor-led training
  • The ‘soft skills’ required of a modern successful project manager are often under-estimated and under developed. For successful project delivery, it is essential that a project manager is well equipped with ‘soft skills’ capabilities as well as the expected technical skills. This workshop covers the key soft skill areas required for managing projects such as stakeholder and communication management, conflict management, negotiation, team work and leadership in a project environment.

Module 4 – Introduction to Agile

  • 1 day of virtual tutor-led training
  • This workshop will provide a fundamental understanding of Agile project management and Agile thinking more generally. It is useful for those considering the appropriateness, and benefits, of transitioning to some form of Agile or hybrid project management methodology.

Module 5 – Client Relationship Management

  • 1 day of virtual tutor-led training
  • Enable delegates to be more proactive and how best to manage client expectations, improving client satisfaction and helping to increase repeat business.
