AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner Bootcamp

The City and Guilds/Provek AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner bootcamp runs over 6 weeks where delegates complete circa 60 hours of study and workshop attendance. Delegates will be supported to achieve the AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner professional qualifications.

The bootcamp compromises of:

AgilePM® Foundation pre course study

  • 5 hours of essential pre-course study, using Provek study resources.

Module 1 – AgilePM® Foundation course

  • 2 days of virtual tutor-led training in preparation to take the AgilePM® Foundation exam.

Module 2 – AgilePM® Practitioner course

  • 2 days of virtual tutor-led training in preparation to take the AgilePM® Practitioner exam.

Module 3 – Soft Skills

  • 2 days of virtual tutor-led training.
  • The ‘soft skills’ required of a modern successful project manager are often under-estimated and under developed. For successful project delivery, it is essential that a project manager is well equipped with ‘soft skills’ capabilities as well as the expected technical skills. This workshop covers the key soft skill areas required for managing projects such as stakeholder and communication management, conflict management, negotiation, team work and leadership in a project environment.

Module 4 – Business case

  • 1 day of virtual tutor-led training.
  • The business case is a vital part of the management decision process as to where to invest an organisation’s resources and finances. This course provides an overview of the development of a business case and an understanding of the various key constituents within a typical business case. It will develop the necessary skills to provide an assessment of the viability and justification of a project or initiative through the consideration of the associated benefits, costs, risks and opportunities amongst other factors.

Module 5 – Project Management Application

  • 1 day of virtual tutor-led training.
  • This workshop is facilitated by an expert project manager and will conclude with all participants reflecting on lessons learned from the course, with a view to application back in the workplace.
