Course overview

A key decision factor when investing in a project or programme is the benefit that it will provide to the organisation.

All too often the benefits are ‘inflated’ with ambitious, or even misleading, claims in order to initiate a project or approve it through the lifecycle gates.

Conversely, many projects are authorised with no real thought about what the benefits will be, how they will be realised and how they will be measured.

This course will address these problems in by focusing on the value intended to be created and showing how to model the benefits and maintain a clear focus on them through the lifecycle through  to their realisation.

Project, programme and portfolio managers and team members, senior managers, change and business managers, and anyone who has a role in the definition or realisation of project or programme benefits.

Delegates should have had some involvement in defining a project or programme either as a team member, project manager, programme manager, sponsoring group member, change manager or other interested party directly involved with a project or programme.
