Course overview

The Level 1 certificate course will give delegates an increased understanding of the risk management process, the people issues involved and the techniques commonly used. Level 2 builds on level 1, focusing on the application of that knowledge to a project scenario.

Course specification

Who should attend:

Project managers, work package leads, risk managers and coordinators, programme managers or key project staff involved in risk management.

Duration:

Level 1: Self study of approximately 15 hours on PM Channel.

Level 2: Self study of approximately 15 hours on PM Channel.

Examination:

Level 1: One-hour multiple choice examination scheduled by the individual.

Level 2: Three hours and 15 minutes online examination scheduled by the individual.

Price:

Level 1: £452 + VAT which includes the online course, online exam and hard copy PRAM guide.

Level 2: £692 + VAT which includes the online course and online exam. Hard copy PRAM guide can be purchased separately £45).

Level 1 and 2 package: £859 + VAT which includes both online courses and online exams. Hard copy PRAM guide can be purchased separately £45).

Course style:

Directed self study followed by the online exam. This includes access to PM Channel, exam practice tests and Provek remote expert support (telephone and email).

Pre-requisites:

Level 1: Ideally, a minimum of six months practical project experience and good basic project management skills and knowledge.

Level 2: It is possible to take Level 2 without taking Level 1; however, the Level 2 assumes the knowledge of the Level 1 syllabus. We recommend that candidates complete Level 1 training. Provek offer this course in self study and classroom formats.
