Provek’s flagship book aligns with the APM Body of Knowledge (BoK) 7th edition and is designed to support candidates in their preparation for the APM PMQ qualification and as a handy reference guide beyond the exam.
The book is divided into 15 Provek learning units, which cover the 11 APM PMQ learning outcomes and multiple Assessment Criteria defined in the APM PMQ syllabus.
Each unit states which learning outcome and assessment criteria are covered within it and includes a comprehensive narrative and a set of sample APM PMQ exam questions with example answers. In addition to each unit, there is a set of the most commonly used project management templates, practical workplace tips and a section called ‘How to pass the APM PMQ exam’.
There is a tutorial video and podcast available to support each unit and the details are available from the Provek website: https://www.provek.co.uk/
In addition to the book, 30 pages of exam revision slides is included as a pdf.
Although The Provek APM PMQ Book is not intended to lay out a series of sequential steps of how to manage a project, it is arranged with a logical life-cycle flow in mind and the author hopes that the material will contribute to the pursuit of excellence in project management.
