BAE Systems Submarines has taken out a corporate subscription, providing 800 staff with access to over 1,000 videos on PM Channel. This will form an essential online learning resource through the new Project Management & Project Controls Faculty

The requirement

BAE Systems Submarines required a training and development solution for their Project Management and Project Controls Community, to support staff in their delivery of complex submarines programmes

The solution

Provek provided BAE Systems Submarines with a lightly tailored configuration of PM Channel platform that enables access to 1,000 videos to approximately 800 staff.

There are three main collections on PM Channel:

  • Fundamentals – Focused on the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification course.
  • Qualifications – Includes six of the leading project management qualification courses.
  • Development – Presentations from 50 leading conferences and interviews with experts.

Tailoring has involved the curation of highlighted content within eight BAE System bespoke job-related collections, such as cost estimating and scheduling

PM Channel enabled the community to keep up to date with developments within the profession. The platform provided BAE Systems with a tailored configuration of the platform, allowing the training course to be topic-specific.

PM Channel provided cost-effective training solutions so that less time and money was spent on attending conferences
